1. Be Yourself Constantly work on yourself, seek out the progress, try to reach your goals but at the same time be kind to yourself. First and the most important key to be happy in life is to discover who you truly are and what makes you happy. Be authentic. And again, be good to yourself. 2. Don’t worry about things you can’t control “Choose your battles.” And definitely don’t fight in those where you can’t influence the outcome. Protect your inner peace. 3 Don’t let society dictate how to live your life It may sound like a cliché but it is your life and you should live it the way YOU want to. Don’t let society dictate you how “normal life” should look like. You really don’t need to please other people but you need to please you. 4 Take care of your mind and body Read books. If you don’t like books, read interesting articles or facts. Never stay still, there is so much in this life to know and learn. It will change your perspective and sometimes inspiration kicks you in the most unexpected moments. 5. Embrace your movement Easier said than done but eat healthy (or healthier at least) and move. Having healthy habits influence our mood, our mind and memory, our energy level and the bonus is that we also look much better. All in all it increases quality of our life. 6 Find hobbies you love Many people say they don’t have hobbies. Go out there and discover. Take dance lesson, learn some new language, try bungee jumping, start to paint, sing… There are so many new activities out there to try. Find what makes your soul happy. And no, you are never too old for it. 7. Be open minded Be open to new ideas, talk to people with different backgrounds, talk to people older or younger than you, discover the world, enjoy all the little things and take the best out of them. 8. Enjoy the moment Try to be fully in the present moment. Again, it sounds like cliché but life moments are passing by so quickly and they can’t be re-lived. Try to enjoy them while they last. 9. Don’t let bad experience to make you bitter “This shall pass too.” Don’t let past disappointments control your life. Don’t be bitter. Bad experiences help to form your character and most of them can serve you as a lesson. Open your mind and heart and don’t let it break you. 10. Be good human Be kind to people around you.
